April 9th-11th Glenfarg Folk Feast - The 32nd!!!!
In 1998 Mike Silver said of the Feast: "You're all ******** mad!" What greater praise for a festival? (He must have forgotten, 'cause he's back!!!)1999 guest Grant Baynham was more restrained (though just as enthusiastic!) "You're all completely mad". The club meets every Monday in the Glenfarg Hotel at 8.30pm. Directions: From the North (M90) turn off at junction 9 by Bridge of Earn and follow the signs to Glenfarg. May 27th-28th Orkney Folk Festival Not to be missed. Fantastic scenery, hospitality and sessions. Held on mainland Orkney and outlying islands. Transport to - and from - concerts organized from Stromness for bands and ticket holders.
June 26th Falkland Folk Festival Jim Malcolm and others........
July 9th & 10th Ceolas Based in S Uist in the Outer Hebrides and running for the week with workshops, we are there for the two days a ceilidh and a concert.
July 16th-18th Lossiemouth Folk Festival Free festival with camping. Based at Beach Bar.
July 31st-1st August Lomond Folk Festival
